4 St. Patrick’s Day Party Desserts

Now that Valentine’s Day has passed it is time to switch gears and start thinking of fun ideas for your St. Patrick’s Day party. What better way to make a statement than with the food you serve? Check out these 4 amazing treats that will have your guests making a bee line to the dessert table!

End of the Rainbow Cupcakes

How fun are these cupcakes? Yes, there are cupcakes under all that colorful frosting!

Any flavor of cupcake can be used for this project. Make sure to have around 30 cupcakes and a large enough platter to form the rainbow.

You will need to purchase 2 cans of white icing, a set of food coloring paste (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple), decorating sugars, and a bag of marshmallows.

***You could try using large marshmallows to make the clouds look more fluffy.

Lucky Charms Treats

What kind of party would it be, if you did not have at least one dessert that used Lucky Charms? Instead of cutting the treats into squares, you could use a shamrock-shaped cookie cutter to make them more festive. I would also recommend green sprinkles because, after all, it is St. Patrick’s Day!

Chocolately St. Patrick’s Day Pretzels

These are cute, little, bite-sized sweets perfect for your party! If you like chocolate, you will love the taste of these clover-shaped treats. They not only include green M&M’s, but also Hershey’s kisses.

You could try using different flavors of Hershey’s kisses if you want variety. I bet the caramel or the raspberry flavor would be yummy!

Caramel and Chocolate Covered Marshmallows

How could you go wrong with marshmallows dipped in caramel and then covered in white chocolate and sprinkles? These are not only easy to make, but are so delicious! You could make a variation by using milk chocolate or even dark chocolate to cover the marshmallows. Don’t forget the sprinkles!

Check out the tutorial at Love From The Oven. You will want to read up on how to apply the caramel to the marshmallows.
