I know that when things get busy and chaotic the first place to get cluttered is my bathroom. The countertops become crowded and unsightly with my blow dryer, flat iron, my husband’s electric shaver, etc. I have been on the search for a way to get these items off my counter and into some sort of organizer.
I have looked for days at different organization solutions and have found a handful of them that I love! If you are in the same boat as me, take a look at these ideas!
***When deciding on which one of these organization solutions to choose make sure you take into account whether you want your curling iron, blow dryer, etc. to be visible or hidden. ***
Ikea Magazine File
This is a great and inexpensive way to organize hair dryers, curling irons, straighteners, and electric shavers. You can purchase a magazine file anywhere, but they are relativity inexpensive, if you have an IKEA near you. Depending on how many items you plan on putting in the magazine file, you could get away with purchasing the corrugated cardboard which are 5 for $1.99.
Command Hook & Strips
I use command strips to hang my wreaths during the holidays. Why not use them to hang your hairstyling tools? There is little to no work installing the hooks. You will spend more time driving to the store to purchase them. What a brilliant idea!
Over the Cabinet Door Chrome Folding Hair Dryer Holder Caddy
This next organization idea can currently be purchased on Amazon for $4.59. The downside is that this is made specifically for a blow dryer. You will have to mix in other organization solutions for a hair straightener, electric shaver, etc.
Degree Y Shape PVC Styling Tool Organizer
This is another budget-friendly organization idea. You can find this at Home Depot in the plumbing section.
This PVC organizer could technically be attached to the inside of your cabinet door. As it is show in the picture above, the person who originally came up with the idea screwed the PVC to the wall.
Styling Tool Organizer
I love this idea if you have to keep your styling tools visible. It is kind of decorative and your items are easily accessible.
I actually purchased a similar basket caddy for my flatware from World Market. They have a similar caddy to the one in the picture above on their website now. It is available for $13.99.
Wooden Styling Tool Organizer Shelf
The organizer above is actually made by a company called North Woods Crafts. They start at about $20 and can come in many colors, sizes, etc.
I love this idea because each shelf is handmade by the creator of this product. How great is that? I love supporting small businesses!
I think this organizer could either be attached to the wall or the inside of a cabinet door.
PVC Styling Tools Holster
I see a trip to Home Depot in my future. This is my favorite beauty tool organizer by far. This is budget-friendly and easy to install. You will need velcro, and different sizes of PVC plumbing pipe. I would measure the circumference of what you are wanting to organize so that you purchase the appropriate size piping.
Brush Holder Made From Tin Cans
This hairbrush holder is made from tin cans and scrapbook paper. The creator of this idea attached the cans to the inside of her cabinet with a command strip. She used cement glue to attach the can to the command strip.
This is such a helpful and inexpensive storage solution! I love it!
