Now that the winter holidays have passed, it just does not seem right to have a front door without a wreath. So, I have been combing the internet looking for inexpensive do-it-yourself wreath projects. I came across several, but the following are my favorite and are budget-friendly. ***Make sure to use coupons if you purchase your materials at JoAnne’s, Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.
Cupcake Liner Valentine’s Day Wreath
You would not believe that this wreath is made up entirely of cupcake liners. This project calls for around 100 liners, ribbon, 12-inch styrofoam wreath, and whatever embellishments you choose to use to make it your own.
If you visit PatternShmattern, you will find a step-by-step tutorial for this project.

Coffee Filter Heart Wreath
This next wreath is beautiful and inexpensive. You will have to set aside some time to put it together. This project uses about a 200 pack of coffee filters. If you have any red, pink or white patterned material lying around you can add your own personal touch to this wreath. I think a red and white polka dot material would be cute!

Heart-Felt Wreath
This is probably my favorite out of all the wreaths. If you want to add a little more color to wreath, try adding pink or white felt into the mix.
There are step-by-step directions on how to assemble this project at The Idea Room.

Christmas Ornament Valentine’s Day Wreath
I hope you took my advice and purchased Christmas bags, wrapping paper, ornaments, etc. when they were on clearance. If so, then this wreath is going to be fairly inexpensive to make.
This project uses Christmas ornaments and garland. You can substitute felt, or any other cloth in place of the garland if you do not have any on hand.

Sun-kissed Heart Wreath
It is amazing what you can make with a little yarn, glue, and balloons. I love this DIY wreath because it is so elegant and simple. There is a step-by-step tutorial at Michele Made Me.
For a little color, try adding a ribbon with a pattern or maybe a few embellishments. I think maybe gluing a few flowers to wreath will add a little more flare to it.

Paper Towel Tube Valentine’s Day Wreath
This wreath is made up entirely of paper towel rolls! I love repurposing things that would otherwise end up in the trash!
This is the most budget-friendly of all of the wreaths mentioned. You can use spray paint, markers, etc. to add color. Try making a pattern by alternating colors of pink, white, or red.
