If you are looking for any easy meal to make, you should definitely give this recipe a try. The ingredients are pork tenderloin, sauerkraut, frozen carrots, and potatoes. Depending on the size of tenderloin that you purchase, you could get two days worth of meals.
This is actually my husband’s recipe. He won me over with this when we were dating. I never thought that pork and sauerkraut would go together, but it tastes great!
German-Style Pork Tenderloin
- 1-32 oz. jar of sauerkraut
- 1 bag of frozen carrots
- 1 unseasoned pork tenderloin
- 4-5 potatoes
Place pork tenderloin in a crock pot. Wash the potatoes and then cut them into large cubes. Add the potatoes to the crock pot. Next, open the jar of sauerkraut and pour on top of the pork tenderloin and potatoes. Set temperature on crock pot to low.
Let tenderloin cook for 6 hours. Pour bag of frozen carrots on top of the sauerkraut. Continue to cook pork tenderloin for 1 more hour.
Serve tenderloin, carrots, sauerkraut, and potatoes together.
